Lots more than love........

"Hey!! Where were you all this while??" Queried Shanaya...

Robert thought "I was around here you never seemed to notice.........."

"Nowhere I just thought you were busy with your music launch and life and I felt you didnt really have much time to talk."

Shanaya said "C'mon rob!! I have always had time for you and talking to you is the best I can do......."Rob didnt seem to hear what she said. Maybe all he heard was "Rob lemme go... I dont think we were meant to be......"
But from nowhere could he have an idea what Shanaya was thinking..

They ve known each other for over three years now.... and how "shan never understood me" thought Rob. Shan was busy thinking and planning about their first video album. For her, he was the one she knew the most and knew as her dual soul. She always felt that her soul wandered outside her body in the form of rob and saved her from evrything that came along her way... or may be stopped her path. She remembers now, she was one of the three kids her parents had, being the eldest she was the closest to her parents and always knew how her mom hated her father but stayed with him just because she couldnt support herself and the kids. Then she grew up and saw her father wanted to give her mom evrything she ever wished for. She remembers him saying.. "I wish I had more than one life to love her, she is the best I could ve ever got. Do I even deserve her".

"Hey Shan " Rob's voice brought her back to the present "temme do ya think this model is good with you or should we get someone else??

"Well..........." looking at him in the mirror she said "I know someone who will suit better than him". Rob didnt notice her looking at him and thought again .... "I wish you thought working with me would be fun." They were always this types, Shanaya would say things and assume Robert understood that and robert.... would never say a word but wanted to feel pampered that Shanaya never understood.

This was a strange relationship, both of them were together, they worked together, lived together, they loved each other but never understood each other. Shanaya was happy thinking they understood each other and were the best pals around. She remembers how, when after her father's demise her mother chose to marry someone whom she could not stand and chose to leave her house. She came to this big city where she knew nobody all she had was a few pounds to get some food n beer for herself and a vocal cord that was an asset to her since childhood. Then she met this guy,Robert Mitchell, he had huge money, was some 21-ish and was a total loser in his life, someone who wasnt even half as courageous as she was. One person who could not stand up for himself even if he wanted to. He was convent educated, a back bencher there and later a high-school drop-out. Parents had no faith in him and chose to give him his share of money and disowned him any further rights. There they were, two people out of there families, looking towards a future where they had no clues where to go. But Shan, thanks to her Dad, always knew how to be greatful to people.

Now after three months, they were anxious, Shan's first-ever music album was about to be released the next day. They have had sleepless nights for past a fortnight. Now Shan was ready with her master peice, sponsored by Mr. Mitchell. Both there lives were at stake, Shan's career and Rob's money.

Music was released and within first week Shan was topping all the music charts. Shan was happy and felt she saw the same happiness in Rob's eyes as well. She finally planned to take Rob out to tell him how she felt for him,but to no avail, later that evening Rob came to her and said I wanna ask you one question if you have time......I think I have fallen in love with you. Will you marry me?? Shan never thought on these lines. All she felt was, they were the greatest pals, they were always there to support the other person, they just wanted to be together till they can be. She just could not answer. Had no idea what she should say. All she knew was...... today she had lost the person who was with her thru all thick and thin. Shan and rob were no longer shan and rob. She was shanaya Parker and he was Robert MItchell. And now she knew how the best things in life were never free. She wanted to stay with him and she wanted to break free. She wanted to be his best pal but never a lover. It was a strange feeling she had. She knew life was running out of her hands...... like sand. She knew it was either a great option to get Robert Mitchell as her husband or a huge loss to lose Rob-the sweetheart as her best pal.
